Estimated delivery time will be the sum of the shipping time plus the manufacturing time. If you want that your product arrive faster, please contact us and we will make every effort to meet your needs.
If no one is available at your address to take delivery, our delivery partners will leave you a note and you will need to contact them to rearrange delivery.
Our shipping companies offer a guarantee that close to 95% of deliveries will be fulfilled by the date advertised; however Portuguese Filigree cannot guarantee delivery by an exact date.

The provision of an incorrect or incomplete shipping address may lead to its return to Portuguese Filigree, causing additional costs. We recommend that you always check your address twice to guarantee that no mistakes are made. Once your order is placed, you cannot change the delivery address or the billing information provided.
We will not be able to send products to some countries because there are restrictions / prohibitions on sending silver by mail. In these circumstances, a full refund will be actioned to the original payment method. Contact us by e-mail if you want to know more details.
Duties & Taxes
- European Union
Orders carried out within the European Union are free of any customs duty.
- Outside European Union
Where orders are shipped to countries outside the EU, or to another country within the EU with special customs regulations or taxes the recipient may be subject to import taxes at the time upon the order reaching its country destination. Portuguese Filigree does not control these charges, and has no control over the order from the moment it is received by the customs authorities in the country of destination. The customer should contact their local customs office for more information. Where customs clearance procedures are required, there may be a delay. This is not factored into the estimated shipping time.
Portuguese Filigree assumes no responsibility in this process.
When an order is retained by the customs authorities and it is assigned a customs duty, it is no longer possible to reverse the process. Charges levied must be paid by the customer or the authorities retain the order. Therefore, and as the Portuguese Filigree has no way of getting the order returned therefore order amount will not be refunded.
We are happy to offer a refund on any product purchased provided you meet the following criteria:
1. Return the product in perfect condition (as sold) with original packaging and original proof of purchase.
2. Return the product within 45 days of delivery.
3. Ensure that you include a covering letter outlining the product to refund, the reason for the refund, as well as all your contact details.

We’re not responsible for items that are lost in the post, so we recommend you use a postal service which insures you for the value of the package.
If the product is faulty we will assume all costs. If the return is not for this reason, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from the amount to be returned.
The refund process will start only after receipt of the products. When your item reaches us, we will notify you by email and we will initiate the procedure as soon as possible. Please bear in mind however, that it can take up to 15 working days to process your refund depending on your bank or payment provider. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us.
